About the institution
The Federal Technical and Vocational Training Institute (FTVETI / Federal TVET Institute) is Ethiopia’s flagship public institute for TVET capacity building, demand-driven training, research, and technology services. It works across the national TVET system to raise quality and industry relevance of vocational education.
Role in MaDE-for-UASs
FTI leads Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning for MaDE-for-UASs—tracking pilots, outcomes, and learning for continuous improvement. It also bridges UAS reform with vocational pedagogy so VR/AR and simulation modules serve authentic workplace competencies, not only campus theory.
