National Resonance Group (NRG)

The National Resonance Group serves as the strategic advisory council linking the MaDE-for-UASs consortium with leading technology companies, TVET institutes, and industry pioneers across Ethiopia. Formally launched on October 28, 2025, the NRG operates as a model Public-Private Partnership (PPP).

NRG Holds Inaugural Meeting & Signs MoU

Welcomed by Ato Eyosyas Woldekidan (ThumbsUp), with presentation by Dr. Ephrem Tekle Yacob (Project Coordinator) on integrating VR, AR, and simulation to produce industry-ready graduates.

Industry leaders highlighted the gap between theoretical teaching and practical job requirements—graduates who are truly fit for purpose.

02. Entrepreneurial mindset

Fostering problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial drive among faculty and students for local job creation.

NRG Advisory Charter Articles & Objectives

Article 1 & 2: Vision & Objectives

Guide curriculum relevance, ensure practical quality, promote university-industry collaboration, and build long-term centre sustainability.

Article 3 & 4: Membership & Roles

Advisory body of invited tech firms, industry leaders, and TVET specialists sharing labour market trends and advising on policy gaps.

Article 5 & 6: Governance Meetings

Convenes a minimum of four times per year as an independent advisory council offering recommendations to the Consortium Steering Committee.

Article 7: Model PPP Partnership

36-month duration co-financed by the EU Erasmus+ CBHE programme, uniting public/private universities and private enterprise.
