MaDE-Technology Center

Technology hub at Dire Dawa University for XR production, industrial process simulation, and hands-on lab practice.

Scope & design

The MaDE-Technology Center at Dire Dawa University (DDU) focuses on design, production, and technical use of immersive tools. It provides labs and workflows for building and running sector simulations used in applied teaching.

Activities include VR/AR production support, industrial process simulation, lecturer and student practice sessions, and technical capacity building aligned with World-of-Work skills. The centre partners with industry and ToT programmes to keep content current.

Together with the Pedagogy Center, it forms the dual-hub backbone of MaDE-for-UASs—pedagogy at KUE and technology production at DDU.
