Immersive VR Training for University Lecturers Concludes at Dire Dawa University

The Practical Training for University Lecturers (4–7 August 2026) closed with project pitches, certificates from DDU President Dr. Ubah Ahmed, and a clear call to cascade VR/AR skills across Ethiopia’s applied science universities.

The Practical Training for University Lecturers concluded with project pitches and demonstrations of how VR, AR, and XR can reshape course delivery.

Over four days, educators moved from foundations to classroom application—demos, instructional design, and collaborative pitches.

Institutional leadership and cascade mandate
