Day 1 — From syllabus need to testable VR action
Participants moved from concepts into practice: VR foundations, Unity XR, civil and electromechanical simulations, and a clear teaching pipeline.
Day 2 — Instructional design at the centre
Day two emphasised strategic instructional design: selecting 3D models against explicit learning goals.
Day 3 — Confidence with modern pedagogical tools
Trainees navigated hands-on frameworks with growing precision.
Day 4 — Pitches, certificates, cascade
The final session combined demos, project pitches, and certificates issued by Dr. Ubah Ahmed.
The Dire Dawa week models European–Ethiopian partnership, dual national hubs, and a multiplier pathway for lecturer capacity.
